Laser Vision SA is seeking the services of an experienced Full Time Orthoptist who would enjoy helping our patients achieve their best vision.
Laser Vision SA is a dynamic cataract and laser vision correction practice located on Hindmarsh Square in the Adelaide CBD (www.laservisionsa.com.au), a two minute walk from Rundle Mall.
Laser Vision SA was the first practice in South Australia to perform laser biometry, all laser LASIK, laser assisted cataract surgery, and SMILE laser vision correction. As such, Laser Vision SA is committed to constantly pursuing opportunities for our patients to enjoy their best possible vision as safely as possible, whilst maintaining excellence in patient service.
This unique position involves assisting Dr Graham Fraenkel in assessing preoperative and postoperative cataract and refractive surgery patients as well as assisting in the laser vision correction suite with procedures and laser data entry.
Laser Vision SA is a well-established practice enjoying excellent relations with the local optometry community.
The ideal candidate should be well presented, possess a strong work ethic, be a fast and accurate refractionist, have good clinical skills, good patient rapport, and be able to communicate well with Dr Fraenkel and his team, who would make you very welcome.

Our CBD practice is very modern, large and light filled with a northern aspect onto leafy Hindmarsh Square. There are multiple adjacent public transport and parking options.
A uniform will be provided. There are no late night or weekend requirements. Full time is a 38 week from 7:50 to 16:50 Monday to Friday with a rostered half day off each week.
